Regular Usage Instructions for Display Function Buttons

I.Preparation #

1、Our displays vary by model, and there are several types available. Choose the display that matches the one you received and follow the instructions to operate its button functions.

he display power button is factory-installed on the left side of the handlebar (as shown in the image below).

2、Button Operation

Power On/Off:

To turn on the display, press and hold the button for more than 2 seconds when the display is off. The display will show all indicators and begin working. To turn off the display, press and hold the button for more than 2 seconds when the display is on. If the display remains idle for 5 minutes (the time can be set in the “Auto Off” settings) without any user input, the display will automatically turn off.

Gear Selection:

While the display is on, short press the button (<0.5s) to increase the assist level. Short press the button again (<0.5s) to decrease the assist level, changing the motor assist power. The lowest assist level is 0, and the highest is 5. By default, the display is generally set to level 1 when powered on (as shown below).

           ECO Mode / Sport Mode Switching:

In the power-on state, the default mode is ECO. To switch to the SERVICE mode, press and hold the button for more than 2 seconds (as shown below).

Backlight and Headlight Switch:

Press and hold (>2s) to turn on the backlight and headlights. Press and holdagain (>2s) to turn off the backlight and headlights. The headlight and backlight interface is shown below.

Display Information Switch:

In the power-on state, press thebutton briefly (<0.5s) to switch between the displayed information on the screen. The display will cycle through: trip distance (TRIP) → total distance (ODO) → maximum speed (MAX) → average speed (AVG) → remaining range (RANGE) → energy consumption (CALORIES) → time (TIME). Mode switching is shown below.

2、Button Operations

Power On/Off:

To turn on, press and hold the button for more than 2 seconds when the instrument is in the off state. The display will light up and the instrument will start working. To turn off, press and hold the button for more than 2 seconds when the instrument is on.

If the instrument remains idle for 5 minutes without any operation, it will automatically shut off. (Additionally, the DZ45 display also has the power on/off function, which operates the same way as described above.)

Gear Selection:

When the instrument is powered on, press the button briefly (<0.5s) to increase the assistance level. Press the button briefly again (<0.5s) to decrease the assistance level. This will adjust the motor’s power assistance. The lowest level is 0, and the highest is 5. By default, the instrument is usually set to level 1 when powered on. (As shown in the image below)

Backlight Switch:

Press and hold the button (>2s) to turn on the backlight of the instrument and simultaneously turn on the headlights. Press and hold the button again (>2s) to turn off the backlight and the headlights. The headlight and backlight switch interface is shown below.

Instrument Display Information Switch:

In the powered-on state, press the button briefly (<0.5s) to switch the displayed information. The display will cycle through: Trip Distance (TRIP) → Trip Time (TRIP TIME) → Average Speed (AVG) → Maximum Speed (MAX) → Total Distance (ODO). The display cycle is shown below.

 2、Button Operation

Power On/Off:

To power on, press and hold the button (for more than 2 seconds) when the display is off, and the display will light up and begin functioning. To power off, press and hold the button (for more than 2 seconds) when the display is on. If the display remains idle for 5 minutes without any operation from the rider, it will automatically turn off.

Gear Selection:

While the display is on, short press / (for less than 0.5 seconds) to increase the assistance level. Short press (for less than 0.5 seconds) again to decrease the assistance level, which adjusts the motor power. The lowest setting is the E mode, and the highest is B mode. By default, the display starts in E mode. When the display shows 0, it indicates the neutral mode. (As shown in the image below)

Backlight and Headlight Switch:

Press and hold / (for more than 2 seconds) to turn on the backlight and simultaneously activate the headlights. Press and hold /again (for more than 2 seconds) to turn off the backlight and deactivate the headlights. The backlight and headlight switch interface is shown below.

Instrument Display Information Switch:

In the powered-on state, press (<0.5s) to switch between displayed information on the instrument. The display will cycle through: Trip Distance (TRIP) → Total Distance (ODO) → Maximum Speed (MAX) → Average Speed (AVG) → Remaining Distance (RANGE) → Cadence (CADENCE) → Calories Burned (CALORIES) → Time (TIME). The mode switch interface is shown below.
