I.Preparation #
Prepare a rear shock pump with a pressure gauge. (As shown below)
II.Precautions #
Check the rear shock valve to ensure it is free of dust or foreign objects. (As shown below)
III.Inflation Steps #
1、Rotate in the direction of the arrow to unscrew the rear shock valve cap. (As shown below) When loosening or tightening
2、Rotate in the direction of the arrow to connect the pump nozzle to the rear shock valve. (As shown below)
3、Begin inflating slowly while observing the pressure gauge on the pump. The recommended pressure-to-weight ratio is 2:1 (2 psi for every 1 kg of body weight) as a reference. For a more precise SAG setting, please click [here].
4、After reaching the desired pressure, disconnect the pump and securely tighten the rear shock valve cap.
IV.Post-Inflation Check #
- Inspect the rear shock again to ensure there are no air leaks.
- Gently press the rear shock to verify normal rebound.
- Take a test ride to check if the rear shock’s damping effect meets your expectations.
